The 1967 Special Mint Set contained five coins struck with a high quality finish and placed within a rigid plastic holder. Each set contained the 1967 Kennedy Half Dollar, which was struck in a composition of 40% silver. The 1967 Washington Quarter and 1967 Roosevelt Dime were struck in the recently introduced copper-nickel clad composition.
